This a written statement signed and stamp by the Notary Public, along with the signer acknowledging or affirming that the contents of the document is true.
A document containing a Jurat Certificate must be signed in the presence of the notary. The signer must take an Oath or an Affirmation regarding the truthfulness of the statements in the documents.
A document containing an Acknowledgement Certificate can be signed beforehand, however the signer must appear before the notary and acknowledge that it is in fact their signature and was made of their own free will.
